In August of 2003, I arrived on campus, unpacked the boxes,
and watched my parents drive away. What next? Before I came
to Cincinnati Christian University, my number one concern
was that I worried about not meeting people and feeling
at home. Due to the close-knit family environment, I had
no difficulty connecting with incoming students, as well
as upper classmen. I have always felt at home and it is
a comforting feeling to know that the professors take time
to invest in my life, as well as other students here on
campus.
My time here at CCU is preparing me
to serve as a bold and effective witness for Christ-no matter
where I serve. I believe that CCU helps cultivate the two
most important relationships in life: God and others. Because
of the exciting Christian environment, I am challenged in
and out of the classroom. In the past two years I have been
“fed” spiritually more than ever. My Biblical
knowledge has increased, my faith has deepened, and my relationship
with God has been strengthened in the two years that I have
been here.
As for my classroom experience: I am
provided with an excellent Bible-based education that is
equipping me with the knowledge and skills I will need to
be successful in whatever ministry God calls me to.
My experience here so far has been nothing but fun and exciting.
I am looking forward to my next two years. I am excited
to see how God will work in me and bless me through this
wonderful institution.
